Ab sofort ist LEGO Dimensions im Handel erhältlich und vereint 14 weltbekannte Marken miteinander, darunter The Lord of the Rings, Scooby-Doo, The Simpsons und viele mehr. Das LEGO Starter Pack kommt wie gewohnt mit einzelnen Bausteinen an. Es beinhaltet das Videospiel, drei LEGO-Minifiguren (Batman, Gandalf und Wyldstyle), LEGO Batmobil und Steine für den Bau eines LEGO Portals namens Gateway. Außerdem enthalten ist ein LEGO Toypad , das wie ein zusätzlicher Controller funktioniert. Mit Hilfe des Toypads könnt ihr Charaktere kombinieren oder Vehikel und Gadgets ins Spiel einbringen. Durch die RGB-Lichttechnologie werden verschiedene Farben erzeugt, die Rätseln und Hinweise geben. Besonders baufreudige LEGO-Spieler werden sich über das Batmobil freuen. Ein cooles Feature bietet das Umbauen der Steine. Insgesamt können drei unterschiedliche Dinge daraus entstehen, die dann in der virtuellen Welt zum Einsatz kommen. Ist es Kunst oder doch nur ein Katzenkörbchen? Egal, diese Katzen finden das Möbelstück mit Biss und im Chain Chomp Stil super bequem und einladend. Für umgerechnet 990 Euro ging dieses unikate Möbelstück an einen Katzenliebhaber, der wohl keine Angst davor hatte, ein Kunstwerk für den Preis als Katzenbehausung zu verwenden.
